Apprenticeship Levels
Beginner
Curriculum: Introduction to the field, acquiring basic skills and understanding fundamental concepts.
Format: Classroom, 2 hours
Protégé 1
Curriculum: Building foundational knowledge and skills, starting to apply what they’ve learned in more practical settings.
Format: Classroom and on-site for employers, 24 hours in the classroom and 76 hours
Protégé 2
Curriculum: Building foundational knowledge and skills, starting to apply what they’ve learned in more practical settings.
Format: Classroom and on-site for employers, 24 hours in the classroom and 76 hours
Apprentice
Curriculum: Developing intermediate skills through hands-on practice and real-world application.
Format: Classroom and client’s site; 36 hours in the classroom, case-by-case basis (client comes to classroom or apprentice goes to client’s site), and 76 hours internship
Journeyman
Curriculum: Achieving proficiency with advanced techniques and demonstrating the ability to perform tasks independently.
Format: Classroom and on-site, 4 hours per month in the classroom and the balance on-site (6 months)
