Harrison Painter is the Director of AI Literacy and Outreach at Blaizing Academy, where he is dedicated to making AI accessible and practical for everyone. With over 20 years of marketing experience—including the fulfilling achievement of leading a startup to acquisition—he specializes in bridging the gap between rapid AI advancements and real-world applications.
As the creator of the PromptIQ framework, Harrison developed a proven system that simplifies the AI prompting experience, enabling more effective results in content creation, marketing, and business problem-solving. This framework empowers businesses and individuals to confidently integrate AI into their workflows.
Harrison authored the first AI book in the state of Indiana, AI: Your Roadmap to Fuel Innovation and Amplify Profits, and is currently working on his second book, PromptIQ: The Human-Centered Guide to AI Success. This new book builds on his mission to humanize AI by providing practical strategies for businesses and individuals to thrive in an AI-driven world.
He is also the Co-founder of the AI Fusion Conference, Indiana’s first AI-focused event, which brings together thought leaders and innovators to share cutting-edge strategies and foster collaboration in the AI industry.
At Blaizing Academy, part of the Indiana Wesleyan University Accelerator, Harrison leads efforts to design AI training programs that equip students, professionals, and businesses with essential skills for the AI-driven future. The Academy’s initiatives include the AI Protégé program for high school students and community digital literacy programs. Successful programs have been launched in Indianapolis, Crawfordsville, and Lafayette, with a goal to expand into 40 more cities by the end of 2025. The Academy focuses on workforce development, ethical AI practices, and translating complex ideas into engaging, relatable content for non-technical audiences.
Blaizing Academy is also opening the first AI Center of Excellence in the state of Indiana in partnership with Elevate Ventures, recognized as the most active seed and early-stage venture capital firm in the Great Lakes Region and ranks among the top 20 globally. The office will open in the first quarter of 2025 in downtown Indianapolis, serving as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and AI-driven learning.
With a background in cybersecurity, Harrison brings a practical, real-world perspective to guide businesses and communities in confidently embracing AI. His personal mission is to train 1 million people to use ethical AI as a tool to enhance their careers, enhance their creativity, and build a future-ready workforce.
