For years, Eleven Fifty Academy focused on empowering people through tech education. Now, we’ve entered a new chapter as Blaizing Academy, focusing on AI and its potential to change how we live and work.
Eleven Fifty Academy, Inc. is founded as a nonprofit.
Launch of programming courses, starting with JavaScript and expanding to five additional languages in 2014.
Hosts its first Hack-a-thon event.
Launch of the Immersive Coding Bootcamp, focusing on .Net and later expanding to JavaScript.
Collaboration with independent colleges to launch the Smart Launch initiative.
Smart Launch grows to partner with 18 colleges nationwide.
Cool Coding Week engages 100,000 students across 25 cities.
Launch of Coding for Veterans and recognition as one of the Top 25 Coding Bootcamps.
Recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor for Coding Apprenticeships.
Launch of Cybersecurity Programs to meet growing demand.
